it's midnight & i'm just back from the evening devoted to Dink /Programme /. only in berlin we had 6-7 events devoted to Hrant Dink's memory, most organized by "left" groups of local turks, also in armenian's/AGA event were turkish participants and speakers. which itself is a very positive development. the ice has moved? at least in minorities, human rights issues we should together with greeks & kurds always cooperate with turks, whenever they're ready to cooperate. those handful activists of turkish origin already give hopes for dialog & understanding.
the events got also press' interest, there were reporters even from spanish & armenian tv. i couldn't resist asking how come they came from spain to berlin for this event?! their program had an interview with Dink last year & now they're making a reportage devoted to him..

i want to share esp these lovely kids born in berlin to turkish parents quoting from mails devoted to Dink a year ago. was so touching..


* it may sound as a blasphemy, but i'll tell. Hrant Dink did much more by his death than by his whole life... started a whole movement. r.i.p.
